Firstly our aim is to set standards to stage events so that
our regional rafting talent can compete and aspire to the highest level of
competition and gain access into the world White Water arena. We would like to achieve maximum publicity to produce recognition
of this spectacular sport. Secondly to acknowledge and maintain rafting tradition that
promotes the conditions, which encourage the development of rafting within
Australia. The A.R.F is managed by a dedicated and hard working
team of volunteers, whose only payment is the satisfaction of seeing the
continual improvement of this rapidly growing extreme sport.

The Australian Rafting Federation intend to
produce and manage Australian White Water Rafting events. We hope to provide valid information for residents of
Australia on
up an coming events and venues. We aim to provide travel and financial assistance for the countries champions to compete on an
international level. We invite all to join and view our recent achievement and
incredible stories of heartache and struggle to the top.

Our web contains information about past events and up and coming events that will be staged
across the globe. We hold press releases, photos, stories of all kinds and
profiles of this years
ARF Australian champions. We offer interaction with these competitors for advice so you can see how they become the best at what they do. We are also seeking yearly
sponsors to assist our champions in international races. We hope to provide information on the
White Water arena and allow easy access to knowledge of such events. We hope you
enjoy your visit and wish to see you again.

As we are a non profitable organization
with limited staff and personnel on hand and we would prefer you reply using e-mail. Persons wishing to
view or chat with this years champs can do so by directing mail to them .
All replies will be answered but allow a little time as these
boys and gals are busy. Persons wishing to discuss racing matters should contact the Race

Penrith Event is about to happen so remember to get you registration in and begin your training as there you will need it.
The Race Director has set up the event procedure and is happy with strenuous course that has been set. There are a number of people that have not or can not construct a full team of six members. These people need not be to worried as we have class river guides, Women & Men that would like to form a team. If you need more details in regard to this you should contact Race Director as he has competitors eager to participate. If you wish to be part of a team or want to fill in be at the Penrith venue on the 29th March 2002 and ask for Vince Roughead or contact him now [email protected]
